ORGANIZERS OF ELEBELE EDUCATION SUMMIT, MISS ELEBELE VISIT CHIEF WHIP OF BAYELSA ASSEMBLY


Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - In preparation for the forthcoming Free Teenagers Skill Acquisition Training, Elebele Education Summit and Meritorious Awards 2025, the Elebele Education Committee in collaboration with the Office of Miss Elebele has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Gabriel Michael Ogbara, at his residence in Yenagoa.


The visit, held as part of efforts to engage key stakeholders and secure strategic partnerships, provided an opportunity for the organizers to brief the Chief Whip on the vision, objectives, and anticipated impact of the forthcoming youth-focused initiative.


Speaking during the visit, the Secretary of the Elebele Education Committee and spokesperson of the Organizing Team, Hon. Ogbarisi Peter Nadema, explained that the Free Teenagers Skill Acquisition Training/Elebele Education Summit and Meritorious Awards 2025 is designed to equip teenagers with relevant vocational skills, promote educational excellence, and celebrate individuals and organizations contributing to human capital development in Elebele Community and beyond.


He noted that the initiative aims to reduce youth unemployment through practical training, enhance self-reliance, and encourage young people to pursue both academic and vocational development.


In his response, Hon. Chief Gabriel Michael Ogbara commended the team for their foresight and commitment to youth empowerment. He described education and skill acquisition as vital tools for community and national development, stressing that such initiatives should be encouraged and supported by all well-meaning individuals and institutions.


Chief Ogbara, who represents Ogbia Constituency III in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, assured the delegation of his full support for the forthcoming event. He also advised the organizers to ensure that proper orientation is given to participants, emphasizing the importance of diligence, discipline, and consistency in applying the skills they will acquire.


The courtesy visit, according to the organizers, marks a major milestone in mobilizing support and collaboration for the Free Teenagers Skill Acquisition Training/Elebele Education Summit and Meritorious Awards 2025.


They expressed appreciation to the Chief Whip for his warm reception and encouragement, while reaffirming their resolve to make the program a success in line with the vision of raising a generation of skilled, educated, and purpose-driven young people from Elebele Community.
