NEW YEAR: TURNAH CALLS FOR UNITY, RENEWED HOPE AND COLLECTIVE PROGRESS FOR BAYELSA, PDP AND NIGERIA
Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - The Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and Zonal Secretary of the Party, South South Zone, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has extended warm New Year greetings to the good people of Bayelsa State, party faithful, supporters, and Nigerians at large as we step into a new year filled with renewed hope and possibilities.
Hon. Turnah in a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Mr. Kelvin Loveday-Egbo described the New Year as "a season of reflection, gratitude, and recommitment to shared values of unity, peace, and collective progress".
He appreciated the resilience, loyalty, and sacrifices of PDP members and supporters across Bayelsa State and the South South Zone, noting that "their steadfastness has remained the strength and soul of the Party despite the challenges of the past year".
He called on leaders and citizens alike to embrace the spirit of cooperation, tolerance, and patriotism, stressing that meaningful development can only be achieved when people work together in mutual respect and shared purpose.
According to him, "the PDP remains committed to deepening internal democracy, strengthening party structures, and advancing people-oriented policies that promote good governance, social justice, and inclusive growth."
Hon. Turnah further reassured party faithful that "the New Year will usher in renewed momentum, consolidation, and strategic repositioning for the PDP across Bayelsa State, the South South Zone, and the nation at large."
He urged members to remain united, vigilant, and hopeful, affirming that with discipline, dedication, and faith, the Party will continue to rise stronger and more focused.
He prayed that "and the New Year brings peace, good health, divine guidance, and prosperity to every household, and that it marks a turning point toward greater opportunities, harmony, and progress for Bayelsa State and Nigeria."
