BAYELSA PDP PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON NATIONAL LEADER OF THE PARTY, NYESOM WIKE, COMMENDS HIS CONTINUED SUPPORT AND LEADERSHIP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, has passed a vote of confidence and commendation on the National Leader of the Party, His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for his continued support, commitment and leadership within the PDP.

The Party under the leadership of Hon. Chief Alabh George Turnah, MON, Esq., acknowledged Wike’s sustained contributions to the growth and stability of the PDP, describing his commitment to the Party and the strengthening of its democratic structures as worthy of recognition.

The Bayelsa PDP leadership particularly commended his courage, political experience and commitment to the ideals of democracy, noting that his continued engagement remains valuable to the Party at this critical stage of its development.

The vote of confidence, the Party said, reflects its appreciation of Wike’s leadership and its belief in the importance of collective responsibility, unity and strategic collaboration in strengthening the PDP and Nigeria’s democratic process.

Motion for the vote of confidence was moved by State Organizing Secretary of the Party, Hon. Godspower Toruyokotie Esq., and seconded by the State youth leader, Hon. Nicholas Eferebo at the 1st Expanded Meeting of heads of Working Committees in the State held at the party's State Secretariat in Yenagoa.
