Bayelsa PDP Congratulates Ohuabunwa, Dansidi on Emergence as BoT Chairman, Secretary

...Reaffirms Confidence in Their Capacity to Strengthen the Party

Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - The Bayelsa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and Hon. Isah Dansidi on their emergence as Chairman and Secretary of the Party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), respectively.

In a statement signed by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Bayelsa State, Alasuote Wright, the party described their election as “well-deserved and reflective of the confidence of the PDP leadership and members in their integrity, experience, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of justice, unity, and democracy.”

According to the statement, “Your emergence at this crucial time reflects the confidence of the Party’s leadership and members in your integrity, experience, and commitment to the ideals of justice, unity, and democracy which the PDP stands for.”

The statement further noted that under the leadership of the Acting Chairman of the Bayelsa State PDP, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, the party in the state remains confident that the newly constituted BoT will continue to uphold its role as the “conscience of the Party, ensuring internal cohesion, fairness, and the strengthening of democratic values across all levels.”

It added that the Bayelsa PDP “assures the new BoT leadership of its continuous support and partnership in advancing the collective progress and stability of the Party.”

While reaffirming the party’s faith in the capacity of Senator Ohuabunwa and Hon. Dansidi to steer the BoT with wisdom and foresight, the Bayelsa PDP emphasized that their emergence represents “a new dawn of renewed commitment, unity, and strategic direction for the PDP at the national level.”

“Congratulations once again to our new BoT Chairman and Secretary. The Bayelsa PDP stands firmly with you in the collective mission of repositioning our great Party for greater victories ahead,” the statement concluded.
