Warri, Delta State - A chieftain of Ojobo federated community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Asiro Nisiama has vent a stern warning against those scampering to downplay the operations of Tantita Security Services, saying the firm has its proven track record in safeguarding Nigeria’s oil assets in the Niger Delta region.

In a press conference at his residence in Warri, Delta State, the two time former elected Chairman of Ojobo federated community warns that any attempt to disrupt the operations of Tantita would be resisted at any form, thereby calling on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government to ignore what he describes as "baseless agitations.”

Asiro states that before the emergence of Tantita through Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known and addressed as Tompolo, Nigeria was grappling with a lot of unwarranted atrocities in the oil sector, which placed the nation’s economy under severe economic threat.

According to the chieftain of Ojobo federated community, the intervention of Tantita has since reversed the ugly trend, leading to a significant reduction in crude oil theft, improved its production, and renewed confidence in the security of crude oil across the Niger Delta, describing these achievements as “undeniable and verifiable fact.” The two time former elected Chairman of Ojobo federated community noted that the pipeline surveillance contract has also brought about widespread inclusion of stakeholders across communities and providing employments for thousands of youths in the region.

He affirms that "the structure and operations of Tantita reflect inclusivity and strategic coordination that cannot be rivaled,” adding that the company’s grassroots intelligence network has played a vital role in its operational success.

He dismissed calls for the decentralization of the pipeline surveillance contract as “unpatriotic and self-centered,” warning that such moves are capable of derailing the progress that has been achieved in the oil sector through Tantita saying it can reintroduce instability in the Niger Delta if handled with kidgloves.

He further clarified that Tantita is not the only operator in the region, stressing that its framework already accommodates participants from various communities and states and making claims of exclusion from some baseless ex-agitators is misleading.

Asiro said beyond pipeline surveillance, Tantita security services has contributed to peace-building, environmental restoration as a result of reduced oil spills, and economic empowerment of local populations.

In light of these achievements, Asiro Nisiama is calling on the APC led Federal Government to not only sustain but expand and institutionalize the contract with Tantita security services, saying the company has shown it's strength through available results of it's operations.

While Passing a vote of confidence on the firm, Asiro Nisiama reaffirmed that Tompolo remains the most suitable candidate to oversee pipeline security operations, noting that his leadership lifestyle continues to deliver measurable results.
