BARR. MRS. ATUA INKO-TARIAH SUBMITS PDP NOMINATION FORMS, VOWS EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION FOR OGBIA


Yenagoa - A frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives, Barr. Mrs. Atua Maruabai Inko-Tariah Osain, has officially submitted her expression of interest and nomination forms for the Ogbia Federal Constituency ticket, at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Secretariat in Yenagoa amid a massive show of support from party faithful, supporters, and well-wishers.


The legal practitioner and politician was accompanied by a mammoth crowd to the party secretariat, as supporters trooped out in solidarity, expressing confidence in her capacity to represent the people effectively at the Green Chambers.


Speaking shortly after submitting her forms, Barr. Atua Maruabai Inko-Tariah Osain stated that her decision to contest was largely inspired by the yearnings and aspirations of the people for purposeful and effective representation. She assured that if elected, she would prioritize quality representation, people-oriented development, and policies that would positively impact the lives of her constituents.


She further expressed strong confidence in the leadership of the Bayelsa State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, describing his leadership style as inclusive, visionary, and capable of repositioning the party for greater success. She called on Bayelsans to continue to rally round the PDP, noting that the party remains the political home for all Bayelsans.


According to her, “PDP is the party for all Bayelsans. Since 1999, Bayelsans have consistently demonstrated their love, trust, and loyalty to the party because of its commitment to the development of the state and the welfare of the people.”


Also speaking, Rev. Dandy Otobo expressed firm confidence in the capacity of Barr. Atua to deliver effective representation and meaningful development to the people of Ogbia. He described her as competent, experienced, and deeply connected to the needs of the people.


Rev. Otobo noted that Barr. Atua possesses the character, leadership qualities, and commitment required to provide impactful representation, adding that her emergence would further strengthen the voice of Ogbia at the national level.
