ANOTHER MAJOR DEFECTION IN ELEBELE: BAYELSA PDP CHAIRMAN GEORGE TURNAH WELCOMES MRS. PEACE AZIBATOR EGBO BACK TO THE PARTY

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Chief Alabh George Turnah, Esq., MON, has warmly welcomed Mrs. Peace Azibator Egbo of Elebele Community, Ogbia Local Government Area, back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), describing her decision as a demonstration of confidence in the Party's vision and commitment to the progress of Bayelsa State.

Turnah commended Mrs. Peace Azibator Egbo for her steadfast belief in the ideals of the PDP and her decision to reunite with the Party under his leadership, assuring her of equal opportunities and full participation in all Party activities without discrimination.

He stated that the PDP remains a united family built on justice, fairness, inclusiveness, and equal opportunities for all members, irrespective of when they joined or rejoined the Party.

The Bayelsa PDP Chairman further called on all well-meaning Bayelsans, irrespective of political affiliation, to return to the PDP, which he described as the true political home of the people and the platform best positioned to deliver purposeful leadership, inclusive governance, and sustainable development.

According to him, the Party is committed to building a more progressive and people-oriented political system that prioritises the welfare, aspirations, and prosperity of every Bayelsan.

Turnah assured all returning members that the PDP under his leadership would continue to strengthen internal democracy, promote unity, and create an enabling environment where every member has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the Party and the development of Bayelsa State.

He wished Mrs. Peace Azibator Egbo a rewarding and fulfilling return to the PDP family and expressed confidence that her experience and commitment would further strengthen the Party's growing grassroots support, particularly in Elebele Community and Ogbia Local Government Area.
