BAYELSA PDP CHAIRMAN GEORGE TURNAH FELICITATES NDDC MD/CEO, DR. SAMUEL OGBUKU, AT 51

Yenagoa, Bayelsa - The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Chief Alabh George Turnah, MON, Esq., has felicitated with the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), His Royal Highness, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on the occasion of his 51st birthday anniversary.

Turnah in a message signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication, Kelvin Loveday-Egbo described Dr. Ogbuku as a remarkable son of the Niger Delta, an accomplished administrator, bridge-builder and patriot whose life of service has continued to demonstrate that leadership is at its finest when it is deployed for the advancement of the people.

According to Turnah, Dr. Ogbuku’s journey at 51 represents far more than a personal milestone; it is a celebration of purpose, resilience, service and an enduring commitment to the Niger Delta and Nigeria.

He commended the NDDC helmsman for bringing to public service a blend of experience, humility, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of the aspirations and challenges of the Niger Delta people. He noted that under Dr. Ogbuku’s leadership, the NDDC has continued to occupy an important place in the national conversation on regional development, infrastructure, human capital development, youth empowerment and sustainable peace.

“Dr. Samuel Ogbuku represents the very best of what the Niger Delta can offer Nigeria. At a time when our region needs leaders who understand its history, appreciate its challenges and can translate its enormous potential into opportunities for our people, his service is particularly significant. He is not merely occupying an office; he is carrying a responsibility that touches the lives and aspirations of millions of people",  he added.

Turnah celebrated Dr. Ogbuku as a gift to the Niger Delta and a valuable asset to Nigeria, whose contributions to public administration and regional development deserve recognition and encouragement.

He prayed that the Almighty God would grant the NDDC Managing Director and Paramount Ruler of Ayakoro Community continued wisdom, sound health, strength and divine grace to accomplish even greater things in the years ahead.

“At 51, I celebrate not only the man, but the journey, the sacrifices, the accomplishments and the greater possibilities ahead. May the years ahead bring you renewed strength to serve, greater opportunities to impact lives and the grace to leave an even more enduring legacy for generations of Niger Deltans and Nigerians” he noted.

Turnah, on behalf of his family, the State Working Committee and the entire PDP family in Bayelsa State, wished HRH Dr. Samuel Ogbuku a joyous 51st birthday and many more years of good health, fulfilment, purposeful service and outstanding accomplishments.
