BAYELSA PDP PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GEORGE TURNAH, COMMENDS LEADERSHIP AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Yenagoa, Bayelsa - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, at its 1st Expanded Meeting of heads of Working Committees in the State has passed a vote of confidence and commendation on the State Chairman, Hon. Chief Alabh George Turnah, MON, Esq., in recognition of his leadership, commitment and achievements since assuming office.

The commendation followed extensive deliberations by Party leaders, who acknowledged Turnah’s efforts in strengthening the Party’s structures, promoting inclusivity, improving the welfare of Party officials and members, and repositioning the PDP for greater political relevance and electoral success.

The Party described his leadership as focused, energetic and result-oriented, particularly noting his emphasis on grassroots engagement, internal cohesion and creating opportunities for wider participation in the affairs of the Party.

The Party said the vote of confidence reflects its collective appreciation of the Chairman’s dedication and its renewed confidence in his capacity to lead the PDP towards greater strength and success in the forthcoming elections.

The Motion was moved by State Auditor, Hon. Amain Oyeintari and seconded by State Financial Secretary, Hon. Erempagamo Eke-Spiff.
