DR. PONDEI LEADS 14-MAN BUDGET DRAFTING COMMITTEE FOR 2027 BAYELSA STATE PDP CAMPAIGN

.....Turnah charges committee on strategic, accountable financial blueprint for forthcoming elections

Yenagoa, Bayelsa - The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Chief Alabh George Turnah, MON, Esq., has inaugurated a 14-member Campaign Budget Drafting Committee to develop a comprehensive financial blueprint for the Party’s 2027 electioneering activities in the State.

The committee, chaired by Dr. Godfrey Pondei, is expected to produce a practical, strategic and accountable working document to guide the Party’s financial planning and campaign operations throughout the electioneering season.

Inaugurating the committee, Turnah charged members to approach the assignment with diligence, strategic thinking and a strong sense of responsibility, stressing that the proposed budget must adequately address the Party’s needs in grassroots mobilisation, communication, logistics, campaign coordination and other critical electoral operations.

He noted that the document would serve as an important strategic guide as the Bayelsa PDP prepares for the forthcoming elections, urging members to ensure that the process reflects realism, efficiency, transparency and accountability.

Dr. James Neminebor will serve as Secretary of the committee, while Ayebaesin Precious Waribugo will serve as Administrative Secretary.

Other members are Igoli Timiondi, Jerry Igbakuro, Esq., Promise Chukwu, Biobelemoye Igoniwari, Erempagamo Eke-Spiff, Solar Yoko Amain, Awudumapu Agorodi, Esq., Heisley Lamighan, Hon. Goodluck Jonathan, Sunny Pere and Otobo Dandy Kaiza.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, Igoli Timiondi expressed appreciation to the Party leadership for the confidence reposed in the members, describing the assignment as a sensitive responsibility that requires professionalism and commitment.

He assured the Chairman and the leadership of the Party of the committee’s readiness to deliver a comprehensive and workable document that would contribute meaningfully to the PDP’s preparations and success at the polls.
