Father Abraham Movement Welcomes Renewed Hope Ambassadors to Ughelli North

Ughelli, Delta State - The Father Abraham Movement has welcomed the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to the Ughelli North Local Government Area, with stakeholders and supporters pledging continued support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event, which was held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Ughelli North Local Government Secretariat, attracted a large gathering of party faithful, political aspirants, members of various support groups, as well as representatives of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

Speaking at the gathering, the Father Abraham Movement reaffirmed its solidarity with President Tinubu, describing him as a leader with the capacity to deliver greater development for Nigerians if given another mandate in 2027.

The group also expressed strong support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, urging stakeholders and supporters to work collectively toward the re-election of both leaders. It maintained that sustained support for the administrations would help consolidate ongoing developmental efforts and ensure that citizens continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy.

The State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Hon. Solomon Funkekeme appreciated the Father Abraham Movement and other stakeholders for the warm reception accorded the team. He urged the people to remain steadfast and work assiduously for the success of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in the 2027 elections.

He noted that victory at the polls would provide an opportunity for the people to participate more meaningfully in the dividends of democracy, stressing the need for unity, commitment and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
