NDC BAYELSA EAST REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PARTY’S GROWTH

Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - Leaders and stakeholders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bayelsa East Senatorial District have reaffirmed their commitment to building a strong, united and formidable party structure capable of deepening the NDC’s presence across the district and the State.

The stakeholders made the commitment on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at a strategic meeting held at the NDC State Secretariat in Yenagoa. The meeting brought together key leaders and stakeholders from across the Senatorial District to deliberate on party organisation, unity, grassroots mobilisation and the way forward as the party continues to strengthen its structures ahead of the 2027 elections.

The leaders emphasised the need for cohesion, discipline and coordinated action, while reiterating their resolve to consolidate the party’s structures and intensify political engagement across Bayelsa East.

They also affirmed their determination to position the Senatorial District as a critical component of the NDC’s emerging political structure in Bayelsa State.

The meeting was attended by the State Party Chairman, members of the State Working Committee from Bayelsa East, all NDC candidates from the Senatorial District, the Senatorial Caucus Chairman and other members of the caucus, as well as other key party leaders and stakeholders from across the district.
