Hon. Moses Ogodo Celebrates Nigeria at 66, Says There Is Hope for the Nation
Delta State - The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Moses Ogodo, has joined Nigerians across the country in celebrating the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary, describing the occasion as another significant milestone in Nigeria’s journey of nationhood.
In his Independence Day message, Hon. Ogodo expressed optimism about the future of the country, assuring Nigerians that there is still hope for Nigeria despite the challenges confronting the nation.
According to him, “There is hope for Nigeria. Nigeria is working towards the right path, and we should not abandon Nigeria at this critical time.” He further affirmed that democracy is working and remains an important platform for addressing the country’s challenges and advancing national development.
The Commissioner commended the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in implementing reforms aimed at repositioning the Nigerian economy and improving the overall well-being of citizens. He noted that although reforms may come with challenges, they are necessary steps towards building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
Hon. Ogodo also applauded the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his commitment to the development of the state and his efforts toward implementing policies and reforms that would improve the lives of Deltans.
He called on Nigerians to remain patriotic, hopeful and committed to the collective task of nation-building, stressing that the responsibility of creating a better Nigeria rests not only on government but also on citizens.
